In a centralized, interconnected, and demanding management context, it structures operations, coordinates stakeholders, and ensures service continuity across an entire territory.
One of the most ambitious smart territories in France
Launched in 2018, the Angers Loire Métropole smart territory project is part of a strong commitment to digital and ecological transformation, with a clear ambition: improve infrastructure management and service quality.
This project is based on:

Today, more than 70,000 pieces of equipment are remotely managed from a supervision center, illustrating the level of industrialization of the system.

Role of NextCity
An operational foundation at the heart of operations
NextCity structures and orchestrates field operations, directly connected with operations teams and the various stakeholders across the territory.
NextCity makes it possible to build and maintain an accurate and structured reference system for all equipment across the territory. This activity is carried out by the design office teams integrated within the operator, who ensure data quality, consistency, and continuous updates.
The platform makes it possible to:
manage a comprehensive equipment inventory describe the technical characteristics of each asset in detail track equipment statuses (in service, faulty, under maintenance, out of operation, etc.) keep a full history of interventions and changes structure networks and their dependencies position equipment on georeferenced mapping
This knowledge forms the foundation for all operations.
